For 60 years, this law has quietly evolved with the needs of older adults, providing critical support services. 

The Older Americans Act provides flexible funding to states that powers home-delivered meals, transportation assistance, senior center programs, protection from abuse and fraud, and even job training and employment opportunities for seniors.

The OAA provides seamless support at the cost of operating in relative obscurity. Few people receiving—or even providing—OAA-funded services know that the OAA responsible.

Based on the administration’s budget request and what we’ve heard on Capitol Hill, the OAA is facing huge cuts. That’s why we’re celebrating the OAA today with a call to action.
