Message from Membership:

Get connected and grow! If you are not a current member, there is no time like the present to get involved with the Washington State Association of Senior Centers. Membership includes many benefits: leadership opportunities, networking, collaboration, resources and support.

Members also receive the Front & Center newsletter, not to mention a reduced rate for the conference. There are many benefits of membership both professionally and personally, as you acquire the knowledge needed to succeed in your field and gain life-long friends. Now is the time to branch out, plant the seeds of friendship and join the Association!

Sue Hilberg coordinates the email loop for our Association. This network is another great benefit of membership. Those who have questions and need help with brainstorming often send requests to Sue, who then forwards them to the entire group. We have had a wide array of questions, with a multitude of experiences that help in problem solving and answering those questions. You would be surprised that we all have similar challenges, a lot to offer and solutions for each other. Your input in invaluable!

Memberships are $45 per calendar year for Professionals. Those whose dues are received by March 15, 2010, receive a significantly reduced rate for the WSASC annual conference in May. We also offer a Student and Retired Professional rate at $25. Checks should be made out to WSASC, to be sent with completed application to Bo Du at the above address.

We’ll see you all in May in our great capital of Olympia at the 2010 annual conference!
