Scholarship Application Form

WSASC 2010 Conference Scholarship Application 
Please only apply for a scholarship if you are in need. If your city or organization is willing to pay for the conference, please allow those who are not as fortunate to have a better chance of receiving either a partial or full scholarship

The Washington State Association of Senior Centers awards full and partial scholarships to successful applicants. Scholarships are to be used for attending the WSASC Annual Conference.

Requirements:

1. Application Requirements
1. Current WSASC Member
2. Currently employed in the field of Parks and Recreation in Washington State or currently enrolled in a college/university in the field of parks, recreations, leisure services, gerontology or any related field

3. Scholarship Application Process
1. Candidate Completes application form
2. Application forms must be received no later than March 15, 2010
3. Scholarship recipients will be informed no later than April 5, 2010
4. Scholarships must be used for the current years’ conference
   
   
4. Scholarship Recipient Expectations
1. All award recipients are expected to volunteer before and/or during the conference
2. Recipients will be expected to attend all aspects of the conference
3. Recipients will be acknowledged during the conference
4. All recipients will be expected share a room, there will be no single person room scholarships provided
