Temporary Adult Activity Center Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Parks & Recreation
SALARY: $26.95/hour – 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Occasional hours may be required on weekends and after 4:00 pm on weekdays.
OPENING DATE: May 28, 2025
CLOSING DATE: June 30, 2025
This is a temporary position with no benefits, expected to last up to 3 months. Tentative start date is August 25, 2025.
JOB SUMMARY:
The person in this position will implement specialized programs for senior adults. Serve as contact for the senior program; oversee daily operation and maintenance of the Adult Activity Center and related recreational, educational, and leisure activities for the senior population. Will monitor programs and ensure the activities are safe. Must be able to communicate with patrons and staff in a positive manner. Supervise volunteers and other part-time staff.
